Best Bahn Mii in the Business

By Matt Sale

Authentic delicious Vietnamese street food served with a smile… Yes please!

This charming Vietnamese café, positioned in the heart of busy boundary street is an absolute must for any foodie, breakfast or lunch.

Chef Dianne and Barista Ken Nguyen, the business owners and winning brother and sister combination have been serving up mouth watering hawker-inspired Vietnamese street food since 2016. From Humble beginnings as farmers at Champters flat, Ken and Dianne never fail to impress us with their smashing dishes, with most of the produce still sourced from their family farm! Some of the favourites include the best Bahn Mii in Brisbane- with fillings of pork, chicken, beef, crispy pork belly (new! and a personal favourite of mine) Nem Nuong (pork patties), Xiu Mai (pork meatballs), omelette or fried tofu. After a hearty breakfast you can’t get anywhere else?  You can’t look past the Eat Mii big breakfast – quality eye fillet steak with fried egg, Xiu Mai (pork meatballs), mushrooms and tomato served with a basket of crunchy Vietnamese baguette. The mouth watering menu continues, but I won’t ruin all the surprises, you must drop in and see for yourself. Or you could organize the team to cater your next event, is there anything they can’t do?

The most important thing Ken and Dianne offer is the service they provide, it’s what keeps us coming back time after time. Ken and Dianne are always interested in the community and the local businesses that surround the café, the food is always served with a smile and I have never talked to anyone who has walked out without a happy tummy and lifted spirit, it’s the perfect destination for lunch when you need a midday pick me up.
