A great memory for people’s names and details of properties. We were always kept up to date as the sale progress. He was a wonderful network of cleaners, handyman, mortgage brokers, property managers etc that he can advise on to help prepare a property for sale. Matt was involved, together with Luke O’Kelly, with the sale of our investment property in Doolandella and working it through with them with their advice as to what they felt was necessary as an upgrade of the property, after owning it for about 16 years, was good practical advice that they gave and made it easier for them to present it to buyers with fresh paint and replacing items that were beyond life expectancy giving it a totally new look. It was on the market for while with a few open houses and not too many serious buyers but towards the end of a period of almost 50 days there was a serious buyer who made an offer that was too low for us to except, but Matt kept up the negotiating and finally got the buyers to a price that was close enough to our target that we accepted a contract.
